Shake-n-Bake: July 2006

I wish I would have had my tripod with me to get better pictures but I wasn't thinking when we headed back over there.

Watching this fire was our entertainment for Saturday night! In Clarkston, Washington, the city just across the river from us was going up in flames. LOL Well not really but it sure looked like it and very well could have. When I took this picture I was standing on the back deck of our business partners house. He was out of town so we were over keeping an eye on things. If the fire would have gotten any closer we would be driving all of the equipment away from there. Finally about midnight we decided they had it mostly under control and was not going to reach the equipment, so we headed home.

I took this one on the way home when we stopped. This little guy was too cute to pass up a picture of!

And of course we did the bumper boats again, LOL!

Later in the day, after Aaron and the kids headed back to Boise, our business partner, Glenn, and his daughter Kadey came up with their camper. This is kadey feeding the deer. Kyle wound up staying in Wallowa with them for another two days. Glenn took them parasailing and did all kinds of things. They had a blast.

We saw this little guy and stopped so Kyle could get close and feed him.

This ia Aaron's youngest, Jessica, isn't she just a doll??!! I was having so much fun being around her. I sure hope someone will make me a grandbaby and hope it's a girl, LOL!!

Last weekend we went to Wallowa Lake, Oregon. We met up with Cameron's best friend, Aaron, and his two youngest kids. This picture is of Kyle and Jordan in the bumper boats and Cameron shooting them with the water guns.

I don't remember if I blogged thsi picture already or not. This is my favorite picture of our oldest son, Jimmy, and his wife Amber. I think this one would make just the perfect beer commercial...what you you all think?

I took this picture on the fourth of July. We were down sitting near the river waiting for it to get dark enough for the fireworks show. These were some of the storm clouds that rambled on through. I wasn't able to get any lightening shots that night, there were too many things going on.

OK folks, I know I have been MIA for a while, and I will be again, atleast through the weekend. Life has been hectic these past few weeks and I haven't been online much. When I am home, the last thing I want to do is look at a computer! (damned sinus infection making my eyes hurt!) I will try to post a few pictures tonight to hold over atleast until Sunday, possibly Monday.

Here is one of my favorite subjects standing in front of a beautiful stream. I was practicing portrait shots, need to get up to par on them before I do the photo shoots next month. Next weekend we are in town, DH is on call so we can't leave. I think I will get a hold of my cousin or his wife and set up a little photo session with little Miss Ashley!

I know I titled this "summer love", no they just aren't summer loves, they have been together going on 2 years and brandon even gave her a promise ring for Christmas! LOL
